Hi I am Joey(She/her) and I love pole dancing. I started pole in 2016 when I was looking for a new hobby. Despite having zero dance/sport experience up till that point, I stuck with pole all these years because I can be comfortable in my body. In the pole dance world, I can be silly, sexy, graceful, strong, free, and vulnerable, all at the same time. Shout out to SWers who created pole dance.
There are so much to pole dance besides the instagram perfect videos. As an instructor, I hope to bring out the joy in pole, because a hobby is supposed to be fun!
Outside of pole, I am a transit enthusiast, an aerialist, and a city rat. Cantonese and Mandarin are my first languages.
